Metal & Wood Knee Rails

Knee Rails

Knee rails are low-level fences which are ideal for marking boundaries, preventing vehicle access, and protecting landscape features. Our knee rails are made of timber or metal posts that are typically connected by horizontal rails. They are easy to install, durable, and environmentally friendly. Our knee rails come in various sizes, shapes, and colors to suit your needs and preferences. They can also be customised with signs, lights, or other accessories.

Trevor Burns Fencing Contractors are based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham and with over 40 years experience in the supply and installation of wood & metal knee rails in the local area, North East, North Yorkshire and beyond which ensures each installation meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Metal Knee Rails

Our metal knee rails can be found in car parks and housing estates and are used to discourage pedestrians from walking over grassed areas and to prevent vehicles encroaching onto walkways and planted areas. The trip rails are a low profile design, usually between 0.5 and 1 metre high, consisting of tubular steel spans supported by posts set at around 2 metres apart. Our metal rails can be made from steel or aluminium to provide a durable, longlasting solution.
