Kissing Gates

Ideal for footpaths, these gates feature a small enclosure that permits one person at a time to pass, which is effective at deterring unwanted access from motorbikes while allowing access for walkers, wheelchairs and pushchairs. Many of our gates come equipped with RADER locks which can be unlocked by NKS (national key scheme) radar keyholders, allowing the gate to be opened fully, allowing access by people with disabilities.

The self-closing mechanism helps prevent livestock escaping when gates are not closed correctly. Our pedestrian gates are available in metal or wood and come in single or double leaf options. Choose from a range of styles, sizes and additional features such as wire mesh or custom embellishments such as placenames or elements of the surrounding landscape such as trees and animals.

Field Gates

Stiles

Designed to allow passage over fences or walls by walkers, stiles prevent livestock from escaping. While they provide an essential access point on footpaths, their usage is minimised to ensure accessibility for all users as they can be difficult to navigate by the elderly and those with disabilities. Typically made from wood but also made from metal, there are different types of stiles to choose from such as step, squeeze, slab and ladder.
